Former Scotland and Manchester United star Alan Brazil was forced into a grovelling on-air apology after Ange Postecoglou proved him so very, very wrong.

Postecoglou got the sweetest revenge of all over his doubters by leading Celtic to the league title, a year after the Scottish giants took experts by surprise by appointing the former Socceroos coach to the top job.
Postecoglou’s exploits were well known in Australia and Japan — countries where he has won domestic titles — but he was subject to ridicule by many in Scotland who didn’t deem him worth of leading one of Europe’s most recognisable clubs.
Brazil was one such critic, telling TalkSport radio: “Celtic have applied for exemption with UEFA for Yokohama Marinos boss, what is it, Postecooglou? (sic), to manage in Europe.
“He does not hold the required licence – oh, this has got to be a wind-up.
“Where do they come up with these guys from?”
But after Celtic held the trophy aloft this week, recovering from a disastrous campaign the season before that saw them finish a whopping 25 points behind arch rivals Rangers, Brazil had to admit he got it all wrong.
“Listen, I am delighted. I like eating humble pie and I’m delighted,” Brazil said this week.
“I will apologise live, now. Ange, different class. What a job you’ve done. It’s fantastic and I take it all back.
“It was the same when Arsene Wenger came (to Arsenal) and I went ‘who?’ I didn’t know who they were and obviously David Dein had a lot to do with that and someone has spotted the talent and brought him over and he’s loved every minute of it.”
Brazil’s apology quickly went viral online, racking up tens of thousands of views on social media.
